AVID (Awaken Village Interest in Dance) is a community project to bring traditional dancing to rural areas.
It is non profit-making and is sponsored by a number of community and private organisations.
Low-cost "DIY Ceilidhs" are held monthly at villages in North Nottinghamshire and the Isle of Axholme
(North Lincolnshire) where all are welcome as musicians, callers or dancers.

AVID Tune books / Dance books
Two tune books (both containing some sixty six well laid-out tunes) are now available to make it
easier for people (from beginners to experts) to join in and play music for dancing.
An accompanying book introduces Calling for Dance.
